FOUNDER’S STORY

Mia Sablan is a passionate advocate and proud Chamorro Pacific Islander woman whose roots trace back to the shores of Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Arizona State University, graduating debt-free on a merit-based, full-ride scholarship — a testament to her dedication, resilience, and ambition. Throughout her college years, Mia immersed herself in volunteer roles and campus organizations, building leadership skills, expanding her network, and nurturing a deep commitment to serving others.

Yet, even as she thrived in school and launched her career, Mia experienced firsthand the realities of the opportunity gap, wage disparities, and the underrepresentation of Pacific Islander women in leadership spaces.

Guided by these experiences and a deep-rooted love for the community that raised her, Mia founded this initiative with a powerful mission: to uplift and empower young Pacific Islander women, helping them nurture their leadership potential and create pathways toward meaningful careers. Together, through this growing community of rising Pacific Islander students, we’re creating a space where dreams are realized, barriers are broken, and a new generation of empowered leaders rises to shape a brighter, bolder future.

To empower young aspiring Pacific Islander women by providing educational and financial resources, enabling them to nurture their leadership potential and create pathways for their careers.

MISSION

To cultivate a growing number of young Pacific Islander women confidently pursuing higher education, attaining leadership positions, and driving positive change within the community.
